On the morning of July 7th, William Liu, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Beijing Association for Advanced Carbon Industry Promotion(BACIP)and his entourage, visited the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University, and met Professor Zhu Hongwei, an expert in graphene industry for exchange and study on graphene industry technology and application fields.
At the forum, Secretary-General William Liu introduced the development of BACIP to Professor Zhu Hongwei, the key incubation enterprise of Huamo (Beijing) New Materials Co., Ltd. and the progress of industrialization projects of graphene lubricant materials, also exchanged and shared on technology research and development, commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, etc. And Professor Zhu was invited to participate in the work of consultation for think tanks, talent training, achievement appraisal and standard formulation of BACIP.
Professor Zhu thanked Secretary-General William Liu for his kind invitation, was willing to actively participate in relevant activities, introduced the research and development direction and main scientific research achievements of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University in the field of graphene, and shared some experiences on research and development and industrialization of graphene lubricating oil technology based on works of the research groups led by him in the over the years.
He also fully affirmed the efforts made by BACIP in graphene industrialization in recent years based on years of work of the China International Graphene Industry Union. And he is willing to give full play to the advantages of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University in terms of talents, equipment and policies to promote the rapid and steady development of the graphene industry, especially in the field of lubricating materials, agriculture and hydrogen energy.
