The 2020 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Graphene Conference successfully held in Fangshan

On November 4, the 4th Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Graphene Conference - “2020 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Graphene Conference & Industry Leaders’ Summit” was held in Yanshan Cultural Activity Center (Yanshan Theater) at Fangshan District. With the theme of "Graphene Era, Wonderful Color", about 400 representatives from government departments, scientific research institutes, graphene industry innovation centers of various provinces (cities), and graphene industry chains in various application fields gathered together to share cutting-edge new material innovations, exchange practical experience in commercialization of application, and discuss the path of development of the new material industry.

At the conference, the world's first graphene innovation and development index based on big data was released for the first time. According to Professor Gong Jianguang of Harbin Engineering University, the person in charge of the development of the index, the index is mainly calculated by simulation of different weights through the real-time collection of invention patents, scientific and technical literature, international and national standards, the number of enterprises, industrial parks, leading experts, talent team construction and other data of countries, cities and scientific research institutions in the field of graphene. Through this innovation development index, we can study the characteristics of scientific and technological innovation and development in today's world and grasp the innovation and development trends in the field of graphene.

The academician's report is a retained session of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei graphene conference. Academician Cheng Huiming and Li Yuliang of the Chinese Academy of Sciences were invited to attend the conference and delivered keynote speeches separately with the themes of “Overview of Advanced Carbon Materials and Progress of Graphene Materials” and “Research on Two-dimensional Graphdiyne: Review and Progress”.

At the meeting, the seed incubator of the Beijing Graphene Industry Innovation Center was officially initiated after three years of planning and construction, and 5 enterprises took the lead in settling in. At the same time, the Beijing AVIC Venture Capital Investment Fund for current and future settlement projects was officially launched.

Aviation and Aerospace are important fields of graphene technology application, and more industrial application projects in the aviation and aerospace fields will soon settle in the seed incubator of the future.

To promote the high-quality development of Beijing's graphene industry and encourage more enterprises to participate in the transformation of new graphene material innovation achievements, the conference set up the selection activity of “Star of Hope in Graphene” of Beijing Municipality for the first time, and after expert review, Huamo (Beijing) New Materials Co., Ltd. won this award.

In the afternoon of the same day, the two parallel venues held the Aviation and Aerospace New Materials Industry Summit and the Polymer Materials Application Summit respectively, taking the application scenarios of graphene as the entry point to discuss the future application fields of graphene.

During the conference, the graphene innovation centers of Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong brought several new material technology achievements with graphene, hydrogen energy and new reviews materials as the main body.

The conference was hosted by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park, Fangshan District People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and jointly organized by Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical Company, Beijing Innovation Center Of Graphene Industry, Beijing Association for Advanced Carbon Industry Promotion and others.
