CIGIU boosts the development of advanced materials industry in Jinan

On November 5^th., the "advanced material industry high end seminar of Jinan new and old energy conversion pilot area" sponsored by Jinan new and old energy conversion pilot area management committee, Beijing graphene Technology Research Institute, Shandong transportation industry development fund, and co-organized by Beijing Association for Advanced Carbon Industry Promotion, China International Graphene Industry Union, and Beijing Aviation Materials Research Institute of China aviation development was held in Xilai, Jinan. Ruan Ruxiang, permanent vice president, Zhou Shuangcheng, deputy president, William Liu, secretary general and senior consultant, Professor Konstantine Novoselov, 2010 Nobel Prize winner in physics, Wang Xudong, President of Beijing graphene Technology Research Institute, general manager of Shandong transportation industry development fund, Wang Chaohui, vice president of School of materials science and engineering, Beijing University of technology, Nanjing University of materials, Yu Geliang, Professor of the University of science and chief executive officer of Yihang Xicheng (Beijing) science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., Zhang yunbao, chairman of Shenzhen Qianhai Ke Chuang graphene Technology Research Institute and other members visited Jinan and attended the seminar.            

Sun Shutao, mayor of Jinan City, met with the delegation of China International Graphene Industry Union and said that he was very grateful to the experts of China International Graphene Industry Union for their suggestions for the development of Jinan new material industry, and warmly invited Professor Konstantine Novoselov to Jinan to guide the upcoming graphene Industry Technology Research Institute. Professor Konstantin believes that the development of graphene industry in Jinan can better drive the development of local enterprises. The key is to have a suitable technological team to take root in Jinan, bring advanced technology to Jinan, and pay more attention to the cultivation of talents. He is willing to accept the invitation to visit Jinan more, hoping to find more joint point. Wang Guiying, deputy mayor of Jinan Municipal People's government, Yin Qingzhong, Secretary General of the Jinan municipal government, LV Jiantao, director of the Municipal Bureau of science and technology, Ji Peide, director of the Municipal Bureau of industry and information technology, Li Hong, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of local financial supervision and Administration, and Zhao Zhiwen, deputy director of the Management Committee of Jinan new and old energy conversion pilot area, attended the meeting.

At the seminar, Tan Wei, Deputy Secretary General of Jinan municipal government, said in his speech that Jinan is making full use of the city's efforts to promote the transformation of new and old energy, attaches great importance to the development of advanced material industry represented by graphene, and lists the advanced material industry in the "ten hundred billion level industrial revitalization plan of Jinan", hoping that experts in the field of graphene can provide reference for the development of advanced material industry in Jinan, promote the development of advanced material technology and industry such as graphene.            

Ji Peide, director of Jinan Municipal Bureau of industry and information technology, said in his speech that in order to accelerate the cultivation and development of advanced material industry and enhance the core competitiveness of Jinan's manufacturing industry, Jinan has cultivated advanced material industry as one of the ten hundred billion level industries, laying a good foundation for its rapid development. At present, the pattern of advanced material industry of "multi regions and multi parks" is also accelerating to form. The scale of Jinan advanced material industry is growing, industry leaders are emerging, and innovation ability and agglomeration effect are obviously enhanced.            

Wang Xudong, Dean of Beijing graphene Technology Research Institute, Yu Geliang, Professor of the school of physics of Nanjing University and chief executive officer of Yi Hang Xi Cheng (Beijing) Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Chi Chao, general manager of Shandong transportation industry development fund, respectively, made a study report the topic of "Application and transformation of graphene industrialization technology and planning of new material industrial park in the leading area of Pilot", "the future of graphene chip industry" and "accelerating the development of new material industry in Jinan by using capital market"   

At the conference, the guests also held a round table dialogue on the theme of "how to plan and build a new material industrial park of international standard and leading in the world". Taking this seminar as an opportunity, CIGIU will help Jinan move forward in the transformation of new and old energy, grasp the strategic opportunity, accelerate the construction and development of "Graphene Valley", carry out the whole chain innovation of basic research, technological research and transformation of achievements into industrial application, so as to attract the upstream and downstream enterprises and talents of graphene to gather in the pilot area, and provide "Jinan model" for the scale application of graphene materials.
