The First Session of CIGIU International Standard Technical Committee was Successfully Held

On Aug 21^st, the first session of CIGIU Standard Technical Committee was successfully held in Taizhou, Jiangsu. Nearly 200 people, including all members of CIGIU/ISTC and members and experts of relevant units, joined the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Liang Zheng, the Secretary General of CIGIU/ISTC. Ruan Ruxiang, Permanent Vice Chairman of CIGIU, and Zhang Jianqiang, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Municipal Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision, jointly inaugurated the International Standard Technical Committee and issued letters of appointment for the members.

Ge Guanglu, Director of CIGIU/ISTC, made a report titled “Challenges, Trends, and Prospects of Nanotechnology Standardization”. Zhang Fan, Deputy Director of CIGIU/ISTC and professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, made a report titled “Two-dimensional Polymer Materials: Structure and Morphology Control from Microscopic to Macroscopic”.

During the session, all members of CIGIU/ISTC discussed the project background, technical content and scope of application of the national standard project including Methods for Measuring Performance of Graphene Film, Methods for Measuring of Tap Density of Graphene-based Composite Electrode Material for Energy Storage. CIGIU/ISTC would play an active role in participating and promoting the follow-up revision work of national and international standards.
