CIGIU Received a Visit from People’s Government of Jixi City

On Feb 17^th, CIGIU’s Administrative Vice Chairman Dong Zhaoxiang, Permanent Vice Chairman Ruan Ruxiang, and the Secretary General William Liu, received the visit from Kang Zhiwen, Secretary of Jixi Municipal Party Committee, and Qian Yankao, Deputy Mayor of Jixi City in the conference room of AECC Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Materials. Principal responsible people of various units in Jixi City and representatives of other enterprises accompanied the inspection and exchange.

      Dong Zhaoxiang, Administrative Vice Chairman of CIGIU, welcomed the visit of Secretary Kang Zhiwen and Deputy Mayor Qian Yankao, and briefly introduced the development and construction of the union and their working direction this year.

      Secretary Kang Zhiwen expressed his support for Jixi’s relevant institutions to join in CIGIU. He hoped that they could open the gate of graphene industry and expand the downstream market of graphene resources with the help of CIGIU to bring in technologies, capital and talents. He said that CIGIU would support the development of graphene industries and projects in Jixi.

      The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and investigation on various aspects including graphite and graphene industrial space planning in Jixi, the advantages and disadvantages of existing industries, the development status of graphene in China, and the favorable development policies for graphite and graphene in Jixi.
